Brahma muhurta is defined as the special time, which is ausp
icious for waking up in the morning. According to Ayurveda, the time between 04:24 A.M. to 05:11 A.M. is known as the Brahma muhurta. It is considered the favorable time for Brahma Gyan. Ayurveda states down various benefits of waking up early in the morning.
It is acknowledged to be the time when sattva manifests itself in us. It is a time when the mind is calm, free from distractions of the world. Brahma muhurta must be optimally utilized because the spiritual path is about developing sattva and eradicating rajas and tamas. Brahma muhurta is the time to develop this sattva in us.
According to Rishi Sushrut, this time is also called as NECTAR TIME as it is best for offering prayers to god. Atharva Veda mentions that this time is good for remaining healthy and away from diseases.
During the time of Brahma Muhurta, the concentration level is at peak. Therefore, students are advised to study during Brahma Muhurat. It is the best time for meditation, as Shushmana Nadi flows readily at this time and your mind will not be deviated anywhere. Practicing Yoga and Pranayama in Brahma Muhurta gives more benefits than in other time of the day.
