SUNDAY- basic quality -fixed
It is the day ruled by Sun. The divinity associated with Sunday is Sun. Though Sun is in the least obstructive in some aspects of life, among the malefic planets, there are some positive aspects that can be taken advantage of on a Sunday. Sun is the leader of the solar system.
For all matters related to Government, administration, politics and political positions, dealings with officials and politicians the energies of Sunday are good. Sun is also related to great energy, self-confidence and optimism. Its dominant energy may be taken advantage for intellectual activity, education, producing or presenting or exhibiting works of art and creativity, making public performances.
On the physical side its positive energy may be used for undertaking surgery to avoid excessive bleeding and bring about quick healing. However for other material affairs, connected with prosperity, money transactions, children and relationships its energies are not very helpful.

Particularly marriages, partnership ventures, new relationships are not launched on this day lest there may be disputes, disagreements and rupture.
Travel may not be commenced lest there is possibility of accidents. Commencement of construction of buildings may not be advisable as there may be obstacles, accidents and destruction. However, war, attack on the enemy may be launched on this weekday as the energies are helpful for success. It is also a good day to fix surgery. The energies of Mars could be very helpful to make surgery a success.
WEDNESDAY- basic quality- mixed
It is the day of Mercury. Mercury being a benefic this is a weekday suitable for launching many types of projects. Educational undertakings, starting a literary venture can be
undertaken on this day. Mercury is also the planet for commercial transactions and can be chosen for business, real estate and other financial transactions. Important travel, especially travel to effect sales and for business purposes could be undertaken under the
dominant energies of Mercury. We may Schedule board meetings, staff training programs and press conferences for a Wednesday. It is an excellent day for communication. Buy your new computer, install your new telephone or activate your cell phone this day.
However do not repair your automobile or any machine this day.

THURSDAY- basic quality: Dynamic
It is the day of Jupiter, the powerful planetary benefic. The energies of this day are most fortunate. The energy is positive for material affairs, material prosperity, marriage, finance, buying assets. Taking or repaying loans can be done this day. This is also a
day when spiritual energies will be prominent. This is also a day for the Guru. Homage to the Guru and receiving blessings from the guru may be done this day.
Long term investments may be made on a Thursday.
FRIDAY- basic quality: Soft and friendly
It is the day of Venus. In Vedic astrology Venus is related to the feminine deity Parvathi, wife of Shiva. Great fortune is related to Venus. Hence it is considered a very auspicious day. However do not part with money this day. You could be indiscriminate in spending, motivated by an irrational desire for pleasure or ego satisfaction. Prayers to female deities may be beneficial. It is also a good day for sentimental relations, love and romance. Launch artistic projects, creative activities on this day. You may commence learning to dance, sing, paint or do some handicraft on a Friday.
SATURDAY- basic quality: sharp and cruel
It is the day of Saturn. Saturn being a strong malefic this is not generally used as a Muhurtha day to launch any projects connected with finance, profession, marriage or health. It is more favorable for spiritual activity and prayer rituals, such as fasting, visit to
places of worship. However agricultural activity or projects connected with minerals and oil wells could be undertaken. It is also a good day for manicure and pedicure and hair styling.

Sunday, Tuesday and Saturday:
Negative qualities: Sun has powerful radiation. It can cause a strong barrier, delays and burn up opportunities.
Mars represents anger, aggression, disputes, disagreements, violence, war, break, rupture, separation, sharp instruments, surgery and accidents.
Saturn represents procrastination, sloth, delay, difficulties and obstructions, depression, disappointments and sorrow.
Muhurtas are generally avoided on these days.
Positive Qualities: As these planets also represent some positive qualities it may be necessary to choose either a Tuesday or a Saturday as an auspicious day, depending on the nature of the project.
For example to start a war Tuesday could be the best day.
As Saturn is a spiritual planet certain religious rituals could be performed on a Saturday. Sunday is good for political, administrative or therapeutic projects.
